Professional Organizations & Opportunities

Support and involvement in professional counseling associations is fundamental to a counselor’s professional identity development and the continued advancement of the profession. Furthermore, research demonstrates that involvement in professional associations during students’ graduate counseling training results in a higher tendency for continued involvement after graduation as compared to students who were not members during their training.
